What to Expect at Your First Visit to Thrive EECP
Your first visit to Thrive EECP is designed to be simple and pressure-free: a conversation about your health history and goals, an evaluation, and a clear recommendation for next steps. Here is exactly how a free consultation works so you know what to expect.
Key Points
- Free consultations are offered for weight loss and neuropathy
- Bring your health history, current medications and any questions
- A weight loss consultation may include a blood pressure check, weight check-in and 3D body scan
- A neuropathy consultation may include evaluation and treatment planning
- You leave with a recommendation, never a hard sell
Before You Arrive
Appointments are made at 1111 East Draper Parkway, Draper, Utah 84020, by phone at 385-330-0358 or through the consultation request form on this site. There is no cost for the consultation and no obligation to sign up for anything.
A few useful things to have ready: a list of current medications, any recent test results or imaging, and any questions you have been saving up.
How the Consultation Works
You meet with the team, talk through your health history, habits and goals, and receive an evaluation appropriate to what you came in for. The team listens first; recommendations come after.
Weight loss consultations may include a blood pressure check, a weight check-in and a Styku 3D body composition imaging scan, which gives an immediate picture of body fat, muscle and measurements.
For Neuropathy Consultations
If you are coming for neuropathy symptoms, the consultation includes an evaluation of your symptoms and history, treatment planning and, when appropriate, blood circulation imaging.
The goal is a personalized plan with honest expectations. Thrive does not claim to cure neuropathy, and the team will be straightforward about what care can and cannot do.
What Happens After
You leave with a clear picture of your options, including which programs or therapies may fit and what they would involve. You can take time to think it over; there is no pressure to decide on the spot.
Thrive serves patients from across the South Salt Lake Valley and northern Utah County, including Sandy, South Jordan, Riverton, Herriman, Cottonwood Heights, Midvale, Murray, Lehi, Alpine, Highland and American Fork.
